Modal Integrative Psychotherapy: Introductory Certification Course

Modal Integrative Psychotherapy (MIP) is a complete philosophical and psychotherapeutic framework integrating modal logic, virtue ethics, and Lacanian structural theory. Developed over twenty years of philosophical and clinical practice by Professor Aleksandar Fatić,  and author of Modal Integrative Psychotherapy: A Logical Integration of Psychotherapy (Palgrave Macmillan, 2025), MIP offers practitioners a rigorous theoretical foundation for understanding psychological change and conducting therapeutic work across clinical and counselling contexts.

The introductory certification course is now available as a fully pre-recorded programme, accessible at any time and at your own pace.

The course consists of ten audio-visual lectures covering the philosophical and clinical foundations of MIP, including modal logic as a framework for psychological change, the structure of therapeutic intervention, the role of virtue and character in psychotherapeutic practice, and the integration of psychoanalytic and philosophical perspectives. The programme includes two written assessments and a final examination, upon successful completion of which participants receive a certificate of introductory MIP certification.

The introductory course counts as the first trimester of the full MIP practitioner training programme for those who wish to continue to full certification. The full programme consists of three trimesters of supervised training at €950 per trimester, with a maximum of six trainees accepted at any one time.

The introductory certification course is available at €1,500 for the English-language version.
